What is the Simple Moving Average (MA)?
A simple moving average is the average closing price over the last N daily candles, for example 50, 100, 200 or 300. It smooths out day-to-day noise so that the direction of the trend is easier to see.
How it is usually read
Price above a rising average is often read as an uptrend, and price below a falling one as a downtrend. The 50 and 200 averages crossing each other are known as the golden cross (50 above 200) and the death cross (50 below 200).
The values above are calculated from Binance daily candles and refreshed when each daily candle closes, with the current value updated hourly. This page is information, not financial advice, and past values do not predict future ones.
